3^rd – 4^th July, 2017 –  In July, Carbon Africa initiated work to develop the institutional and managerial capacity of the community owners of a proposed grid-connected small hydro power plant. A large team under Carbon Africa visited the site in Meru Country, Kenya where initial meetings with the community leaders were undertaken. This contract lead by Carbon Africa is being delivered under the African Development Bank (AfDB) with substantial support being provided to the innovative community owned venture over the coming 12 months.
