27 September 2017 РCarbon Africa, together with Economic Consulting Associates and 3e, have been awarded a AfDB-SEFA funded contract by the Minist̩rio dos Recursos Minerais e Energia (MIREME) in Mozambique. The main activities under the contract are:
- Preparation of renewable energy feed-in-tariff guidelines for investors
- Development of a standardized PPA for grid connected projects
- Elaboration of grid-connected guidelines for small renewable energy projects
- Establishment of a new mini-grid regulatory framework, tariff structure and environmental standards
Carbon Africa will provide related capacity building and training support for government institutions and local stakeholders throughout the assignment.
