January 18th, 2016 - Carbon Africa ltd. is pleased to introduce Timothy Cowman as our new Deputy Director. Based out of our Nairobi head office he is to be engaged in many of the company’s climate policy and finance activities including work emerging from the 2015 Paris Agreement.

Tim joined Carbon Africa in January 2016 after almost five years with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat. Within this context he comes with vast African experience having been with the UNFCCC regional centre in Kampala since its initiation in 2013. Prior to joining the UNFCCC Tim worked for GEOKLOCK Consultoria Ambiental and as a consultant in Brazil and Germany on various carbon market, renewable energy and environmental initiatives.
