From 2^nd-4^th October Carbon Africa jointly with Perspectives Climate Group was running a peer-to-peer workshop in Addis Ababa under the theme “Managing the transition from Kyoto to Paris – the potential of carbon markets and climate finance for East Africa”.

The objective of the dialogue was for key stakeholders to get the most up to date information and share their practical experiences on the progress on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, climate finance mobilisation, MRV systems and NDC accounting in East Africa.

The event was under GIZ EnDEV Ethiopia, GIZ Global Carbon Markets Programme Uganda and Climate Finance Innovators Project, with support from Irish Aid, UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centre (Kampala) and the newly formed East African Alliance on Carbon Markets and Climate Finance.
