Timothy is responsible for leading the company’s climate change policy and climate finance activities including new work streams emerging from the 2015 Paris Agreement. Prior to joining Carbon Africa, he spent almost five years working at the UN Climate Change Secretariat and four years in Brazil as an environmental consultant with a focus on climate change mitigation. His time at the UNFCCC was initially spent at the headquarters in Bonn before going on to successfully establish the Regional Collaboration Centre in Kampala, Uganda in collaboration with the East African Development Bank. Tim holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Surrey, UK.
