Sandra is PhD scholar at the Australian National University and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), based in Canberra, Australia. She is also a free-lance international consultant on carbon measurement and monitoring and climate change. Among her recent client portfolio are the World Agroforestry Centre in a joint project with the World Bank Institute, Scientific Certification Systems, the National Science and Technology Council and the Ministry of Environment (Peru).
 She  has several years’ global experience in environmental economics, communications, environmental  education, climate change adaptation and mitigation, having worked for the Amazon Initiative of the International Centre of Tropical Agriculture, the World Agroforestry Centre and the Food and Agricultural  Organization of the United Nations being based in Brazil, Kenya, Italy, respectively and with further fieldwork in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Thailand, Indonesia and USA.  Sandra holds a Bachelor in Forest Sciences, a Forest Engineering degree and a Msc in Ecological Economics (University of Edinburgh, UK).
