Clarice is a lawyer with significant experience in the energy and environment sector, providing regulatory, transactional, and strategic legal advice in these areas to project developers, development agencies and national and sub-national entities. She is a co-founder and Partner at  boutique law firm- Kieti Advocates LLP, where she works on energy and natural resources, environment and climate change assignments. Clarice began her legal career at Hamilton Harrison & Mathews Advocates working on corporate and commercial transactional and advisory work, and has also held an in-house counsel role at Carbon Africa, providing legal support to the company’s operations in Nairobi, Kampala and Maputo. She is a Commonwealth, Lord Hope, John Fitzsimmons and Strathclyde International Scholar and holds an LLM in Climate Change Law and Policy (University of Strathclyde), an MSc in Africa and International Development (University of Edinburgh), and an LLB from the University of Nairobi.
