Access to climate finance
The climate finance space is shifting somewhat away from project-based greenhouse gas emission reductions to national, sectoral and government-led approaches. Nevertheless, there are still market opportunities and public sources of climate funding for private developers are available. Carbon Africa has helped secure more than USD 4 million in climate finance for projects on the ground in Africa and we can also advise on raising more traditional forms of debt and equity.
CDM and carbon markets
Carbon Africa has strong expertise in CDM and Gold Standard project and programme development, monitoring and marketing in addition to experience with VCS and JCM. Our knowledge covers a range of project types from grid-connected power plants to improved cookstoves. We look forward to continuing to provide carbon credit services to new and existing clients and advising on the best ways to commercialize your carbon asset under the post-Paris international climate framework.
