Project Developer Forum
It is a collaborative association and a collective voice to represent the interests of companies developing greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction projects in international markets under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Joint Implementation (JI) and other carbon emission reduction schemes and programs.
Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN)
The CTCN, which sits under the UNFCCC, promotes the accelerated transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low carbon and climate resilient development through technology solutions, capacity building and advice on policy, legal and regulatory frameworks tailored to the needs of individual countries.
Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Loan Scheme
Carbon Africa is a registered consultant for UNFCCC Loan Scheme for CDM. The loans approved by the institution are 3-part agreements that demand the co-signature including a consultant and aproject developer. As a registered consultant, CA is able to prepare and submit the project for UNFCCC registration, monitor the progress during implementation, report the results and advisor the project developer during the entire project.
Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves
This a public-private partnership hosted by the UN Foundation aims to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and protect the environment by creating a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions. They are working to accelerate the production,deployment, and use of clean cookstoves in developing countries.
